Congratulations!
You did it. You took the jump and now you are one step closer to becoming the most confident you. Remember this is something different. It’s going to take a little time to get use to wearing a hair system. Give it a chance. A new hair system needs time to break in. Like a good pair of shoes, as you wear them they begin to mold to you, absorb your oil and become more comfortable. The same goes with a new hair system. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to reach out, that is what I’m here for
So what now? Here are my rules and recommendations for wearing a synthetic hair system. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to email me at hrbyitzel@gmail.com.
Synthetic Hair Care Instructions
-
Rule #1
Please be patient. I know it probably feels like a lot of hair, but give it a chance to break in and settle down. The wonderful thing about synthetic hair is that it has a memory. The more you wear it and play around with it the sooner it will break in.
-
Rule #2
Gently brush your hair every day. While you brush, you want to hold the front of the hair system to prevent it from lifting. Brush on a daily basis, both in the morning and evening. This prevents the hair from tangling.
-
Rule #3
DO NOT use strong hold products such as strong hold hair spray, strong pomades, waxes & gels. The systems do not produce their own oil, so the product doesn’t break down properly and no amount of washing will get it out.
-
Rule #4
Be careful around fire places, ovens, campfires, grills and stoves. Remember your hair is synthetic (acrylic fiber) so it will melt if you get too close to heat.
Post-Care Recommendations
-
How often do I have to wash the hair?
You can was the system once a month. You will know when it’s time to wash it because the hair will begin to clump together. Use the shampoo and conditioner I gave you because it is made specifically for synthetic hair.
-
Can I use hot tools?
Nope! DO NOT USE HEAT if your system is synthetic. Your hair will melt. If you want a change of style bring it in to me and I will use a special method to style it for you.
-
Do not out yourself!
Unless you want to, you are not obligated to tell anyone that you are wearing a hair system. It is no ones business but yours. You don’t need to announce it. Wear it with confidence. You look amazing!
